Client Kelsey talks about being able to completely revamp your mindset about what it takes to have a physique that you love and that you know is healthy is hard to do, but once you master it, you can do it for the rest of your life.
Loving how my body is shaping out 🥰 look at my shoulders 😍 I mean I’m mackin' on myself for a minute 😂😂 and then my little babe comes in, running on the treadmill and then turns around and says, “Mom, check out these muscles” 😂 and then I’m thinking, yup, I have one cool kid 😎 This week has been SO good! Pushing myself!! I’m so proud of how far I have come! 👏🏾👏🏾 And I’m totally going to send it to Lindsay! And I’m not worried about “weight” gain! That shit is ALL muscle gain 💪🏾 and I’m 100% good with that! Feeling like bring it on and let’s see what this body does and how she performs. 🙌🏾🫶🏾

My confidence is so much better after 3+ months. I went from having tears rolling after taking my pictures to not even caring that my weight went up. You encouraged me every step of the way, and I was so afraid to eat and consume carbs and fat. That’s what was ingrained in us (women), and that’s why I love this program so much. Another win from my week is my husband and I went to Bonefish restaurant for date night and I enjoyed my dinner with my macros. I got chicken breast with lemon butter sauce, broccoli and rice and it was delicious. I didn’t have to worry about blowing my whole day or feeling anxious about eating out.

I’m feeling so good at the gym. My back seems to be doing good with all the things we’re doing + PT, and it makes me feel so empowered and like my old badass self is coming back. I hate feeling incompetent or like I’m being restricted, so seeing my back respond and let me move in the ways I’m used to makes me so happy and grateful�. � I love the challenge, even though I’m huffing and puffing sometimes because I haven’t trained that hard in a while 🤭 Also wore a bikini last week for a pool day, and I felt so good in it. I haven’t really loved my physique for a while, but I saw myself in the mirror, fluffy and al,l and I still felt fabulous 😬

I am just feeling proud of my consistency in this fitness work and journey. I feel so strong and so thankful I am doing this for myself. It’s been a huge ballast for my mood and temperament. This is my self-care, and I will protect it fiercely. I am so happy to be in that headspace. It’s such a different vibe than my past fitness work. Where it’s more self-critical and punishing. This honestly feels like a gift I give myself each day, to push my body this way and see the results. Seriously, this has been the most amazing experience. I have had trainers in the past, and this is so much better, so much more holistic and sustainable, and I am just like, how did I ever live without this help? Thank goodness I never have to again! LOL

I had a treat yo self weekend, but spread those extra calories between two ish days! I went out of town to see a friend, went to one of my favorite bands shows, went to a Chinese dumpling restaurant that had been on my bucket list, went wine tasting, went to a very fancy spa in Napa, had oysters, did all of this while actually having my first ever on point week! I spread my extra 250 out over Friday night, Saturday, and a few on Sunday! I’m really proud of myself for having a blast, being out of my usual control, and staying pretty much spot on track. My best adherence week yet, actually!

I realized we nearly added 500 calories, and my body looks the same, which means you healed my metabolism and now we are increasing my exercise while maintaining the calories,s allowing my hormones to adjust to the new program, and I will see changes in the next couple of months. Duh... creating the perfect place to begin leaning out without touching my calories.

My mental health + energy has improved immensely along with my overall physique. I have really learned sleep/ rest is crucial to recovery, how important your form is, and the mind-muscle connection + really to enjoy the process and have fun with living an overall healthy lifestyle.
Before joining the FFP, I had low energy, was always tired, and was moody. I hate to admit it, but I didn’t fully believe in myself. Having support and joining was one of the best decisions, I now have more confidence and believe in the process. I have a ton of energy to keep up with my babies and I am a much happier person. The people around me can see it and tell me! I push myself harder because i believe that I can do it, even if I struggle it pushes me closer to my goals mentally and physically.
I have had such a great amount of support not only from my Coach, but the community is very uplifting and supportive as well! We truly are a tribe! Anytime I need inspiration or explanation I have always gotten that and it’s been such a great experience!

Never be afraid to invest in yourself. We pay for/take care of our cars and material matters better than we take care of ourselves. Oil changes are expensive but if we don’t do it the life of our car will be shortened. The same goes for our bodies. Get the help you need right now to improve your health and wellness and know that 6 months to a year is a blip in time in comparison to the rest of your life with good health and habits. To make an investment in your health and longevity and if you need the “really good oil” then get it! You deserve to be full of health, happiness and crush your physique and mindset goals. I’ve learned to listen to my body and have self-control versus a scarcity mindset and feel like I’m missing out! My body and metabolism have come a long way in just a short amount of time. My diet is much better and my metabolism is speeding up. My Fit Femme Project coach has been amazing to work with on arranging my diet and exercise according to my daily and weekly life changes. I was in such a routine that I was too afraid to change without a coach to guide me through.

WINS
1. I can slay it at the gym! I felt so unsure and intimidated by gyms, I didn’t know if it was meant for me. After a few months of at-home programming, we took it to the gym, and now I absolutely love that outlet and feel confident there.
2. After 6 months of training I did a freakin’ boudoir shoot for my future husband and felt so confident physically and mentally. That moment, one that previously could have been riddled with self-doubt, was just empowering and validating for me and all the work I’ve done.
3. I truly feel good in and proud of not only my body but the choices I make around my health and wellness.
LEARNS
1. Trust the process and commit to the routine. There were times when emotionally I felt down or bored or off and instead of skipping my workout, I’d go anyway because I committed to that routine. Even if the workout wasn’t my best, I always ended up feeling better mentally.
2. Slow and steady wins the race. For me who has struggled with extremes (restricting, binging, no exercise, too much cardio, etc.) finding a sustainable approach to food and fitness has been freeing. No cramming for a deadline, I have truly moved steadily through these past 6 months and can see the physical and mental changes I’ve undergone and absolutely here to last.
3. That little nagging, shitty voice in your head is lying to you. I learned to acknowledge the hurtful self self-talk but kept moving forward in ways that honored my body and mind, and that voice has gotten quieter. It’s not the dictator of my mood or actions anymore.
GAINS
1. I’ve gained confidence in my physical abilities- especially lifting and running and just navigating a gym!
2. I’ve gained confidence in my ability to commit to goals, to stick to a routine, and continue moving forward even when that path isn’t always linear and I face mental or physical hurdles along the way.
3. I’ve gained a holistic approach to overall health, fitness, and wellness that I am able to carry with me and build from, for the rest of my life.

I followed Team Casey and Casey for a while, just kind of watching her competition career. I then saw she was taking on lifestyle clients and when I started following the Lifestyle Coaches their personalities and the entire Fit Femme Project vibe just clicked for me.
I had worked with a coach before so I had some mental models about how this would go. I was SO wrong. From the start my FFP coach made me realize that she was about the WHOLE picture not just the number on the scale. I’ve learned to really prioritize myself in order to make changes to live a healthier life. It’s taken me so long to her get here and get out of my own way. I have some bigger fitness goals to hit and I'm truly excited to continue to work with such amazing people to hit those goals.

Because this group of women is just so powerful and all the encouragement I see on social media is so strong and wonderful. There is so many positive aspects to this great group of women. Not only do they help you change your body but also the mindset that allows you to love your life like never before!
Everything has changed for the better now that I am a part of Team Casey's Fit Femme Project, I have learned to love myself more and also learned a bigger sense of responsibility in my life. I am determined to stay this way and keep this team with me forever.
